The game "Feelings" was created on the basis of the following observation : in our practices of caregivers with psychic teenagers, there was no mediation tool that could directly deal with patients in the field of affects or emotions. This deficiency seemed to us regrettable.
Through multiple encounters, we have developed this game as a tool for everyone to identify and express their own feelings in a given situation, then guess the emotion experienced by a player partner in the same situation.
This double process, introspection at first, then the need to be self-centered, to consider the other in its difference, seemed to us to be an engine of intersubjectivity.
Thus, the putting into play of the empathy of each one is favorable to the debate, time where the speech and the representations can circulate within a group, sometimes making vacillate our well-anchored prejudices.
